new scale, new years

I love it. It works alot better and I love the accuracy. It is also a bit larger so it works better with my giant feet.

We ended up staying at my parents' house last night. K was feeling fine but once we got there she started to complain about her ears hurting. I didn't want to take the girls out in the cold at 2 AM when Hubby and everyone else finished playing cards and games. I was asleep by 11 as was O. K stayed up until midnight and then crawled in bed with me. She isn't complaining anymore about her ears but I think I am going to try to get her and I in to the dr tommorrow because my ears are killing me. I had some ear drops from K's last ear infection that I put in my ears and in her red ear. I took some ibuprofen and gave K some of hers and we both took naps when we got home this morning. She is still sleeping but she really needs it badly. She got up at 3 AM and 6 AM and then at 8 am for the day. Poor thing. She didn't complain, just woke up and wanted Mommy. So needless to say I got very little sleep. If she is still hurting when she wakes up, she is going to the Urgent Care today, while hubby is home.

getting a new scale

Our scale is freaking out. It gives me 3-5 different weight readings every time I get on the darn thing. It is making me mad. So I am getting one that measures down to a 10th of a pound. That oughta help me not freak out when the scale says I gained because I may have only gained a couple tenths rather than a whole pound like our scale says now.
